Survey and setting out

The record describes assessment and precise setting out before cutting, with the method selected for concrete thickness and the actual site conditions.

Coring and diamond wire sawing

Preparatory holes provided routes for the wire and guide equipment, enabling controlled separation of the foundation sections.

Diamond disc cutting and site controls

Accessible concrete sections were cut with a diamond disc saw and water cooling. The project method included exclusion zones and water, dust and slurry control throughout the work.

Scope and constraint

The work behind the images.

Scope. Precision cutting and removal of reinforced-concrete foundation sections using diamond wire saws and diamond disc saws. Core drilling prepared routes for the wire installation.

Constraint. Concrete thickness and site conditions determined the cutting method. The documented work included precise setting out, controlled exclusion zones, and water, dust and slurry management within the infrastructure work area.

Delivery. The completed-project portfolio records 200 m³ of concrete removed during a one-month programme in 2026, supported by 15 specialists and six machinery units.

Reading the project evidence

What the photographs document.

The details below distinguish the visible work from the wider project brief, so you can assess whether the experience is relevant to your own site.

Foundation-level work

The photographs locate the team beside the foundation sections in a narrow infrastructure work area, with surrounding access and removed material visible.

Coring before wire installation

The core-drilling photograph and the portfolio's method description connect the bore preparation to the diamond-wire cutting sequence.

Wire and disc methods distinguished

The project combined diamond wire sawing for foundation separation with diamond disc cutting on accessible concrete sections. These are distinct methods within the same removal package.
