Technician operating a real wall-mounted diamond core-drilling rig

Diamond coring · Dubai

Concrete drilling services in Dubai and across the UAE.

Arasar delivers concrete and diamond core drilling services in Dubai for clean circular openings through reinforced concrete and masonry. Diameter, depth, angle and location are coordinated with the required service, anchor or structural detail.

Reviewed by Arasar Engineering & HSEVerified company record

The method

Core drilling in Dubai.

Core drilling forms accurate openings without the overbreak associated with impact methods. It is used for mechanical and electrical services, structural sampling, anchor systems and specialist penetrations where finish and alignment matter.

A successful bore depends on more than the drill rig. Concrete scanning, rig anchorage, cooling water, slurry recovery, access to both faces and the risk of the core releasing must all be planned. Our method integrates these controls into a clear sequence for work in occupied, industrial and construction environments.

Concrete drilling services · Dubai & UAE

Every bore planned from set-out to core recovery.

Arasar provides concrete core drilling from its Dubai base for construction, refurbishment and industrial work across the UAE. Bore diameter, depth, angle, reinforcement risk, rig anchorage, water recovery and the receiving service are coordinated before drilling starts.

Scanning before drilling

The proposed bore is reviewed against available drawings and suitable concrete scanning so reinforcement, post-tensioning and concealed services can inform the final set-out.

Controlled rig setup

Anchorage, access, working orientation and core retention are selected for the actual slab, wall or structural element rather than treated as standard conditions.

Clean site handover

Cooling water, slurry, released cores and finished opening dimensions are controlled and recorded for the next trade or inspection stage.

Why this method

Control at every interface.

Technology creates value only when it is integrated with the structure, the work environment and the required end state.

01

Dimensional accuracy

Rig guidance maintains the specified diameter, position and drilling angle.

02

Minimal overbreak

Diamond coring removes only the required material and leaves a consistent opening.

03

Adaptable setup

Wet, restricted-access and specialist rig arrangements can be designed around the work area.

Project workflow

From uncertainty to a controlled sequence.

Each stage produces the information needed to release the next, keeping engineering and site execution aligned.

01

Verify location

Coordinate the bore with drawings, scan results, clearances and the receiving service.

02

Secure the rig

Select an anchoring or vacuum method suitable for the substrate and orientation.

03

Drill and control

Manage feed, cooling, slurry and core retention throughout the bore.

04

Recover and inspect

Remove the core safely, clean the opening and confirm dimensions and condition.

Typical deliverables

Clear enough to build from.

  • Drilling location schedule
  • Scan and clearance confirmation
  • Water/slurry control method
  • Opening completion record

Technical questions

Before mobilisation.

Final methods and capacities are confirmed after a project-specific site assessment.

01What diameters can be core drilled?

A broad range is possible, from small service penetrations to large engineered openings. Final capacity depends on depth, reinforcement, orientation, rig access and core handling.

02Can drilling be completed overhead or at an angle?

Yes, with an appropriate rig, anchorage, water control and core-retention method. These conditions require a site-specific assessment.

03Will core drilling create vibration?

Diamond drilling is a low-vibration method compared with impact breaking, but the surrounding structure and sensitive equipment should still be considered in the method statement.

04Do you provide concrete drilling services outside Dubai?

Yes. Arasar mobilises from Dubai for suitable concrete core drilling projects across the UAE. Bore quantities, diameters, depths, access, scanning and water-control requirements are reviewed before mobilisation.
