Heavy demolition describes the scale and machinery involved. Controlled demolition describes the engineered management of the sequence and risks. Large projects normally require both.

02Can an industrial facility remain partly operational?

Where the asset configuration allows it, work can be divided into controlled zones with protection, monitoring and agreed interfaces. The feasibility depends on utilities, access and structural independence.
