Arasar heavy machinery progressively dismantling a large building structure

Building demolition · Dubai & UAE

Building demolition in Dubai and across the UAE.

Arasar undertakes building demolition in Dubai and across the UAE for reinforced-concrete, steel-frame and mixed structures. The removal sequence is developed around structural stability, adjacent properties, public interfaces, machine positions and the safe movement of every material stream.

The method

Building demolition designed around stability and space.

Building demolition may progress through high-reach machinery, floor-by-floor dismantling, controlled cutting, lifting or a hybrid sequence. Height, structural system, setbacks, basement conditions and neighbouring operations determine which approach is suitable.

Before execution, the project team must understand load paths, weak or altered areas, utilities, temporary works, falling-material zones and disposal logistics. Arasar turns these constraints into defined work zones, hold points and a progressive demolition plan.

Structures · Dubai & UAE

The building determines the demolition sequence.

Concrete, steel and mixed structures require different reduction methods, plant positions and protection strategies. Arasar develops these decisions around the verified building and its surroundings.

Structural appraisal

Load paths, height, condition, basements, setbacks and altered areas inform the proposed reduction sequence.

Neighbour protection

Screens, exclusions, monitoring, cutting and controlled material movement are selected around adjacent assets.

Progressive release

Each floor, bay or structural zone advances against defined stability and clearance hold points.

Relevant delivery evidence

Methods supported by visible project work.

Original UAE project photography is shown alongside clearly labelled wider group experience where it demonstrates the relevant scale or dismantling method.

Building-scale control

Stability first. Removal second.

The safest production rate is the one supported by the building, the available space and the protection strategy.

01

Structural sequence

Load paths and stability are reviewed so the building is reduced in a controlled order rather than by unrestricted breaking.

02

Protected boundaries

Exclusion zones, screens, monitoring and controlled material drops are coordinated around neighbouring assets and public interfaces.

03

Material flow

Concrete, steel and other streams are separated around lifting, processing, transport and the required handover condition.

Building workflow

Reduce the structure in verified stages.

The sequence maintains clear zones, hold points and interfaces from soft strip through structural removal.

01

Appraise the building

Confirm structural form, condition, alterations, utilities, boundaries and adjacent sensitivities.

02

Choose the reduction method

Define progressive mechanical work, cutting, lifting, temporary support and machine locations.

03

Establish controls

Install protection, access routes, monitoring points, exclusions and material-handling zones.

04

Demolish progressively

Reduce the structure in verified stages and release each work zone against the planned hold points.

Typical deliverables

A building-specific demolition package.

  • Building appraisal inputs
  • Demolition sequence and plant plan
  • Protection and monitoring controls
  • Waste-flow and handover records

Technical questions

Before mobilisation.

Final methods and capacities are confirmed after a project-specific site assessment.

01How is a building demolition method selected?

The method depends on height, structural system, condition, available setbacks, neighbouring assets, basements, access, craneage, environmental limits and the required programme.

02Can parts of a building remain?

Potentially. Partial retention requires clear structural boundaries, temporary support and a sequence designed around the remaining load paths. Selective demolition may be more appropriate than full removal.

03How are dust, noise and vibration controlled?

Controls are selected for the method and surroundings and may include cutting, water or extraction, physical screening, monitored work zones, restricted operating periods and staged material processing.

04Does Arasar demolish buildings across the UAE?

Yes, subject to project review. Structure, location, access, approvals, plant transport, disposal routes and programme are evaluated before mobilisation.
