Need an execution contractor?
Demolition services in Dubai and across the UAE.
This article explains the planning question. For scope review, method selection and a site-specific technical proposal, continue to Arasar's primary service page.
The main cost drivers
A straightforward standalone structure may allow conventional plant and direct material loading. A similar volume inside an operational site can require scanning, cutting, remote equipment, night work, protection and staged removal. Those constraints often matter more than the nominal size.
- Concrete and steel quantities, height and structural form
- Access for plant, cranes, trucks and debris movements
- Temporary works and protection of retained areas
- Dust, noise, vibration and working-hour restrictions
- Material testing, separation, transport and disposal
Safety starts in the commercial scope
If surveys, engineering, utility isolation or monitoring are missing from the pricing assumptions, they do not disappear from the project risk. A transparent quotation should identify responsibilities and allowances so the team understands what is included before mobilisation.
- Pre-demolition structural and services information
- Defined exclusion zones and emergency arrangements
- Plant selection supported by access and loading checks
- Competent supervision and agreed inspection points
How to compare proposals
Compare methods and assumptions, not only totals. Confirm that each bidder has priced the same retained structure, disposal route, working hours, approvals and completion condition. The lowest initial number can become the most expensive option if it relies on undefined variations.
Project note
Guidance is the starting point. The site determines the method.
Every structure, access route and operating environment is different. Final engineering, approvals and controls should be based on verified project information and a site-specific assessment.
