Data centre dismantling · Dubai & UAE
Data centre decommissioning and dismantling across the UAE.
Arasar can undertake complete data centre dismantling in Dubai and across the UAE, including IT hardware. The scope is built around the customer's asset inventory, shutdown plan, access rules, retained infrastructure and required handover condition.
A complete removal scope, including the IT estate.
Data centre removal is not simply a building strip-out. Servers and other IT equipment, racks, cabling, electrical and cooling systems, raised floors, partitions and any structural works can have different owners and release requirements. The proposal must identify what is being removed, retained, transferred or excluded.
Data-bearing equipment requires explicit client instructions before physical removal. Shutdown, power isolation, data migration or erasure, information security, custody records and any specialist disposal obligations must be assigned in the project scope; none is presumed to be included in a generic dismantling quote.

Why this method
IT assets and building fabric in one defined plan.
Technology creates value only when it is integrated with the structure, the work environment and the required end state.
01
Asset-by-asset boundary
IT equipment, facility systems and building elements are treated as separate inventories with defined destinations.
02
Release before removal
Client-controlled shutdown, data handling and electrical isolation are documented before dismantling starts in each zone.
03
Coordinated clearance
Access, lifting, material routes and retained infrastructure are planned together rather than as unrelated trades.
Project workflow
Release, remove and reconcile by zone.
Each stage produces the information needed to release the next, keeping engineering and site execution aligned.
01
Define the estate
Review asset registers, racks, cabling, power, cooling, building fabric and the end-state requirement.
02
Confirm responsibilities
Agree the parties responsible for data, shutdown, isolation, custody, specialist waste and release of each area.
03
Sequence the dismantling
Plan handling of released IT assets before associated fit-out and any structural elements are removed.
04
Reconcile and hand over
Check removed items and cleared zones against the agreed asset and handover scope.
Typical deliverables
A scope the customer can verify.

Technical questions
Before mobilisation.
Final methods and capacities are confirmed after a project-specific site assessment.
01Does Arasar include IT hardware in data centre dismantling?+
Yes. Arasar can scope complete dismantling that includes IT hardware. The exact assets, data-handling instructions, responsibilities and destinations must be agreed before work begins.
02Do you erase data or certify destruction?+
No blanket data-erasure or destruction certification is claimed here. Those requirements must be specified by the customer and assigned to a suitably qualified responsible party in the project plan.
03Can the data centre stay live during removal?+
Only released zones can be dismantled. Any phased work beside live systems depends on independently confirmed separation, isolation, access and operational controls.
04Is this the same as general plant decommissioning?+
No. Data centres add IT assets, data-bearing media, racks, cabling and continuity requirements. The plant-decommissioning page addresses industrial process structures and released equipment rather than this IT-led scope.
One intent per project scope
Choose by removal boundary.
Use the service page that matches what must be removed, what must remain and the final handover condition.
