Arasar crew handling removed material at a Dubai villa project, illustrating controlled clearance rather than a completed strip-out

Complete strip-out · Dubai & UAE

Complete strip-out services in Dubai and across the UAE.

Arasar undertakes full interior strip-out for refurbishment, change of use and redevelopment. Office, retail, villa and other fit-out removal is scoped around what stays, what goes and the condition the next contractor needs at handover.

Service information updatedVerified company record

The method

Clear the interior, keep the retained building defined.

A full strip-out removes an agreed interior package, which can include partitions, ceilings, flooring, fixtures, non-structural finishes and released services. It is not the same as demolishing the building structure or cutting a single opening. The inventory and exclusions need to be explicit before pricing or mobilisation.

The plan separates retained fabric, occupied neighbours and live systems from released work zones. Any service isolation, hazardous-material assessment, structural alteration or reinstatement obligation is identified with the responsible project party rather than assumed to be included in a generic strip-out quote.

Why this method

Interior clearance without an undefined scope.

Technology creates value only when it is integrated with the structure, the work environment and the required end state.

01

One removal boundary

The scope lists interior elements to be removed and surfaces, structure or systems to be retained.

02

Occupied interfaces

Access, dust, noise, debris routes and neighbouring operations are considered before the sequence is fixed.

03

Handover clarity

The client and next trade can agree the clearance level and any excluded reinstatement work in advance.

Project workflow

From fit-out inventory to agreed handover.

Each stage produces the information needed to release the next, keeping engineering and site execution aligned.

01

Inventory the space

Record existing fit-out, retained finishes, services, access and the required end condition.

02

Assign isolations

Confirm who disconnects and releases electrical, mechanical and other systems before removal.

03

Strip in zones

Remove released non-structural elements in a sequence compatible with protection and material routes.

04

Clear and hand over

Remove the agreed material and review retained interfaces against the defined scope.

Typical deliverables

What the next contractor receives.

  • Itemised removal and retention schedule
  • Isolation and access responsibilities
  • Phased removal method
  • Agreed clearance and handover condition

Technical questions

Before mobilisation.

Final methods and capacities are confirmed after a project-specific site assessment.

01What is included in a complete strip-out?

The agreed interior package can include partitions, ceilings, flooring, fixtures and released building services. The contract must specify exclusions, retained elements, service disconnections and the handover standard.

02Is strip-out the same as selective demolition?

No. Strip-out focuses on removing interior fit-out. Selective demolition may also remove structural elements under a separate engineering and support plan. A project can require both, but their boundaries should stay clear.

03Can a villa be stripped out without demolishing it?

Yes, if the renovation retains the main structure. The scope should distinguish internal finishes and partitions from any walls or slabs that need structural review.

04Does the price include reinstatement or hazardous-material removal?

Not automatically. Reinstatement, specialist hazardous-material work and service isolation must be identified and assigned explicitly during the project review.

One intent per project scope

Choose by removal boundary.

Use the service page that matches what must be removed, what must remain and the final handover condition.
