Traditional site markings remain valuable, but they can be lost or misunderstood as work progresses. Photogrammetry, laser measurement or survey control can place scan findings into a wider record of the wall, slab or structure.

Better demolition set-out
The project team can compare reinforcement patterns and concealed services with proposed cut lines, cores, anchors and lifting points. Conflicts are resolved in the planning stage, where changes are faster and less expensive.

Interpretation still matters
A three-dimensional presentation does not increase the physical penetration of the scanning method. Depth, congestion, moisture and material still affect results. The model should communicate uncertainty honestly and remain one input within a broader engineering decision.
